Your Guide to Muskego's Country Christmas
Country Christmas set for Nov. 19 with a parade to kick off festivities at Muskego Settlement Centre

The Muskego Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism has again put together an afternoon and evening that is right on time for the season.
'Muskego's Country Christmas' will make a return, and it comes packaged with a wide assortment of activities. Here are the event highlights:
- 1 p.m. a parade will come down Pioneer Drive into the Settlement.
- 1:45 p.m. A 'mascot Christmas gift dash' featuring various mascots racing each other to put presents under the tree is new this year
- 2-5 p.m. Most of the buildings in the will be open, and will feature crafts, food and a puppet show.
- Music will also fill the Old Town Hall, presented by Mark Strehlow and Jay Lewis
- Homemade candies and snacks are also available in the Old Town Hall.
- Pioneer Pub will be serving up more food outdoors to keep you warm and fed
- Holiday Heroes will be sponsoring a toy drive - bring a donation, or a new, unwrapped toy to be donated to Toys for Tots
- Santa will be on hand to visit with children and pictures can be taken with the jolly old elf, but please bring your camera with you - a photographer will not be provided
- Also needing your help is the , which will be on hand to accept food or cash donations.
- Carriage, haywagon and kiddie train rides are available at a small fee throughout the grounds.
- Carolers will be strolling the grounds throughout the event; and crafters will be sprinkled throughout open buildings and outside.
- 2, 3 and 4 p.m. - a live nativity will be presented in the old church
- 4:45 p.m. - lighting of the city Christmas tree.
Shuttles will be available, and will pick up at Lion's Park and Pioneer Drive and of course in front of the Old Settlement Centre.
