Muskego Girl Makes the Finals for Waukesha County Fair Top Singer
Alyssa Voit will compete on Wednesday, July 18 at 7:30 for the chance to sing on a major stage.
Alyssa Voit of Muskego remains as one of the hopefuls to become the Waukesha County Fair Top Singer, as garner the top prize of $250 and the chance to perform on a big stage at the fair.

Voit participated in Muskego Idol last year and tied for 1st, but lost the tie breaker. Her mom Roxanne said her decision to try for the County Fair's contest was pretty simple.

"She just thought it would be fun to try. We saw a story on the news and i told her to just give it a shot," she explained.
After the public judging, the finalists will perform in random order for a panel of judges. Background music or an accompanist is allowed for this performance. (Finalists are responsible for providing their own accompaniment either in person or recorded.) The judges will determine one winner and a runner-up. The Top Singer winner will receive $250 in cash and have the opportunity to perform his or her winning song on the Miller Lite Main Stage Sunday, July 22, immediately before Craig Morgan performs at 6 p.m. First runner-up will also receive a cash prize and may perform in place of the Top Singer should he or she be unavailable.
