Muskego High School Will be Host for Regional Special Olympics Competition

Over the last three years the Boys and Girls Track and Field Teams have volunteered at the Special Olympics, Region 8 Athletics Competition at Nicolet High School, according to Scott Kugi, activities coordinator. 

"We are pleased to announce that this year the Region 8  competition will be held at MHS on Saturday May 12, with opening ceremonies to begin at 8:15 a.m. in InPro Stadium followed by competition at 9:00 a.m.," he said.

MHS athletes will volunteer at the event working with Special Olympians as they compete in the Regional qualifier for the Special Olympics State competition held later this summer. 

According to Scott Kugi, "both teams feel honored to have the opportunity to give their time to host this wonderful event."
