Mom's Suspicions for 'Sleepover' Lead to Underage Alcohol Citation
Thinking it odd that an 18-year-old man would want to hang out with 14-year-old girls, a Muskego mom's intuition proves correct.

An 18-year-old Muskego man was cited for underage possession of alcohol after a mom put the brakes on a sleepover planned at her home with her 14-year-old daughter and two friends.
According to Muskego Police reports, the woman contacted them on March 8 after she discovered bottles of alcohol in the man's backpack. He had arrived at her home in Muskego to "hang out and spend the night" with her 14-year-old daughter and two of her friends, also 14. The woman told police she found it odd that someone that age would want to spend time with the girls and told the man she would need to inspect his backpack before she would allow him to stay.
Upon opening it, she found bottles of creme de menthe and a bottle of vodka appletini. The man told her he had forgotten the bottles were in there, and that they were a friend's.

Police arrived and while interviewing the man, he also admitted to having a bottle of creme de menthe in his car, which they found under the seat, according to reports.
Although police determined the man had not been drinking through a breathalizer test, he was cited with underage alcohol possession and faces a fine in Muskego Municipal court.
