Muskego Police Report Arrest Made In Gas Thefts
The driver of a silver Chevy Trailblazer who had been eluding police for months in connection with gas drive-offs is now in custody.

As far back as July, police had been reporting in their neighborhood watch newsletters that a man driving a silver Chevy Trailblazer was using stolen license plates to elude capture after he would fill up at area gas stations.
This week, the news was good, as A 40 year old Greenfield man was arrested for again attempting to steal gas from on Dec. 12. The man was operating a silver Chevy Trailblazer with stolen license plates, and was suspected of numerous other thefts of gas from Kwik Trip and other gas stations around the Milwaukee metro area.
Police had been advising residents to watch for the vehicle or to immediately report any theft of their license plates, and as recently as the end of November was again sited at a Kwik Trip using such plates.

Lt. Dave Constantineau explained, "the employees at Kwik Trip have been keeping an eye out for this guy and called us when they saw the truck." However he said the man's name can't be released as other departments are investigating
similar incidents in their communities.
