Police Tip Hat to Salentine Family
Recognizing their service to the community over the generations, the Muskego Police Department will honor the Salentine family with a plaque and tree planting at Veteran's Memorial Park.

The name Salentine has been seen throughout the city of Muskego, from the longtime dealership in Tess Corners to Muskego High School, and now the Muskego Police Department plans on putting the name on a plaque in Veteran's Memorial Park.
The Park and Recreation Board approved a request Monday night by the department to plant a tree near the park's playground along with a plaque to recognize the contributions of the family, which has been a part of Muskego for about 100 years.
Members of the family have founded and been part of the Tess Corners Fire Department since its inception, served as aldermen and mayor, and have donated services and provided funding for the large gym at Muskego High School.
