Muskego Posts 23 Finishers in Lakefront Marathon
For some of us, Sunday was cold, blustery and a good morning to read the paper over a cup of coffee. For others, it was a good day to finish a brisk 26.2-mile run along Lake Michigan
There are at least 23 people in Muskego feeling pretty good about themselves, in spite a bit of muscle soreness.
That's because 23 Muskego residents crossed the finish line at the annual Milwaukee Lakefront Marathon, held on Sunday from Grafton High School to the Meier festival grounds.
Finishing 25th overall, Jon Fink completed the course in 2:46:40, which gave him an overall pace of 6:22 per mile. Winner Jeff Zroik of Watertown was the 1st place finisher on Sunday, with a time of 2:27:09.

Other finishers in the top five included Chris Pollack (3:18:56); James Shepherd (3:20:07); John Knasinki (3:43:43) and Tracy Cavanaugh (3:49:36), who also represented the first woman from Muskego to cross the finish line.
