Muskego CDA Will Look to Marketing Study To Aid In Making Decisions On Redevelopment Districts
Marketing analysis is due in January, and CDA hopes data will aid in making decisions in key districts.

The Community Development Authority met Tuesday night at , and reviewed various redevelopment districts throughout the city. However, the reigning thought among the members was that any detailed planning for any of the districts, including Mill Valley, Tess Corners Drive and Downtown, would be better served by the .
Recapping other news from the districts:
- Tess Corners Drive has seen cooperative efforts in cleaning up properties; city planner Jeff Muenkel said plans for street scaping would likely be reviewed in January or February
- Downtown redevelopment may be further assisted if the city looks to partner with local banks to provide low interest reinvestment loans and grants for improvements. The city presently has its own loan and grant program, with grant dollars awarded from their commercial grant and loan funds. Muenkel said Oconomowoc has a similar program, and the members indicated that they liked the idea, but would like to investigate futher how a program like it in Muskego could work. With no shortage of banks in Muskego, the CDA felt the program had great potential.
