Muskego's Newest Representative Announces Website, Posts Stance on Obamacare Legislation
Dave Craig was elected in May, and shares link to information and his own office to constituents.

Stating that he hopes voters will "take advantage of the constituent resources there and to connect with their state government," Rep. Dave Craig (R-Town of Vernon) announced a new website for the 83rd Assembly District, of which Muskego is a part.
The new website, http://craig.assembly.wi.gov, provides contact information as well as statements on various issues including concealed carry, redistricting and the state's mascot law.
Craig also has posted regular updates, the most recent of which is entitled, "Obamacare in Wisconsin? No Thanks" where he responds to the adoption of State Assembly Bill 210, which "implements the insurance regulation regime under Obamacare."

"The supporters of this measure contend that enacting this bill will give us a shield from the federal government," Craig stated. "They assert that by adopting this legislation, we will avoid a situation where the federal government swoops in and assumes regulatory control of our insurance industry. They may be right. But is there a difference between the federal government overtly regulating an industry in our state or we as a legislature adopting federal guidelines and assuming the role of the hand puppet of the federal government? I think not."
He urged caution and patience, asking to "wait for the judicial process and political process to work their respective wills and fight to protect consumer choice and affordable health care in Wisconsin," fearing that it would "likely leave the stain of Obamacare on Wisconsin for years to come."
