Annual festival focuses on safety, but has evolved over the years into a fun family event.
Muskego’s Task Force on Public Safety announced that the 5th Annual National Night Out will return to in Muskego on Thursday, August 9th, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
"This is a unique crime prevention event all done to strengthen our community and our relationship with our law enforcement and to heighten crime and drug prevention awareness," said Lt. Dave Constantineau.
Last year, hundreds of families enjoyed music, food and refreshments as well as the Flight for Life helicopter and emergency vehicles. The Tess Corners Fire Department will also return with its 'Smoke House,' a fire extinguisher and air bag demonstration. Local K-9 Units, Jaws for Life, the DEA, FBI, US Coast Guard, McGruff the Crime Dog also round out the area organizations that will come in for the event.Â
