Newest Business In Muskego A Cure for Bored Kids
Jungle Jimmy's offers a host of distractions for kids up to the age of 12, and with little to no snow predicted and 11 days off in the forecast, it's the perfect remedy for winter blahs.
Muskego High School graduate (class of 2000) Jimmy Baseler said that he got the idea for Jungle Jimmy's because of his 4 year old.
"There's nothing like it in Muskego, and we wanted to bring a business to the city that's something for the kids," he said.
Soft opening just last Saturday, December 10, the facility includes a large arcade, concessions, and of course the main attraction: floor-to-ceiling sized bounce houses.

"It took us awhile to arrange all of them to allow for a large center space that was open, and allowed for the cords that power the bounce houses to be hidden," Baseler explained.
His goal in creating Jungle Jimmy's was also to make it an affordable destination, and had been to other similar facilities like Monkey Joes and New Berlin's Big Backyard.

"We're very cost effective at $7 for each child 3-12 years old (kids under 3 are $3 and prices increase by $2 for all ages on the weekends), and parents come free," he explained. Doing the math, that's cheaper than a movie and much better exercise as your kids spend the time bouncing, climbing and simply moving around. The cost also covers as much time as you want to spend there; Jungle Jimmy's doesn't have a limit on 'sessions.'
Military families are also welcome to enjoy the facilities at half the cost, no matter what day or time of the year. Season passes are also being offered, at $65 for three months.
What Baseler wantes to avoid is to have the place become a teen hangout during the playtimes, and therefore will enforce a strict 12 and younger policy during their regular hours. However, he said older kids may become part of the plan as they develop special events for that age group only.
With the brief stint held by 'Lights,' that's also welcome news.
A full concession stand is available and party rooms can be reserved, with catering offered by Sauced Pizza in Muskego.
Jungle Jimmy's is located at S84 W18693 Enterprise Dr. in the Muskego Business Park. Presently hours are Mon-Thu 11am-7pm, Fri-Sat 11am-8pm and Sun 11am-6pm, and it's likely the upcoming vacation time will alter those hours a little.
