Packers Author and Filmmaker Tells About Life Inside the Team
Bill Povletich will be on hand at the Muskego Public Library to share stories of the greats of the Lambeau Field gridiron
Let's face it, Packer Nation is never tired of hearing the tales of its beloved and storied franchise, so an appearance by Wisconsin native William Povletich should have all of you green-and-gold clad faithful at the edge of your seats.
Povletich will be appearing at the Muskego Public Library on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. to discuss how he pulled together his book, "Green Bay Packers: Trial, Triumphs and Tradition."
His book features more than 300 photographs, some not previously seen, and tells the unlikely story of football's most iconic team, and its unique position as the only fan-owned franchise. It also gives readers a view into the rise of modern professional sports.Â

A native of Wisconsin, Povletich has earned both critical acclaim and audience success with his wide array of projects as both a producer and writer including projects for the History Channel. The event is being presented by the Friends of the Muskego Public Library.
Along with most recent chronicle about life on the inside of the Packers, he's written other regionally-focused books like "Some Like It Cold: A Sheboygan Surfin’ Safari;" "Milwaukee Braves: Heroes and Heartbreak ," and "Green Bay Packers: Legends in Green and Gold."Â
