Permits Tell a Tale of Summer
Muskego Common Council approves numerous requests for outdoor permits at local establishments and in parks, which outlines a busy season to come.

Recapping the Common Council meeting from Tuesday, you may notice a pattern in the agenda items, many of which point to a party.
As part of its license approvals the following businesses will be entertaining customers outside in the summer to come:
June 1 and 2, July 6 and 7, and August 3 and 4 will feature outside entertainment during Jammin' on Janesville (first Fridays) and spills into the next day as well.

: June 9 will feature an anniversary party and benefit for the Triploi Shriners.
: June 16 will hold a Mission for Families event from 6 to 11 p.m.

Chamber of Commerce: July 18 will have a tent set up as part of their "After Hours" event to coincide with the Water Bugs Ski Show at
: Aug. 18 is throwing an anniversary party from 3 to 10:30 p.m.
In addition, the council approved the award of a bid for paving to Wolf Paving for $384,628. The cost will cover the entire 1.8 mile recreational trail along Woods Road, with construction to begin in mid-June.
Judge Patrick Berigan, who is Muskego's Municipal Court Judge, will now serve a four-year term to comply with state statutes. This was in effect after the judge was elected in 2010, and will apply to his current term, which originally was stated as two years.
