Photo Gallery: Youth Art Month Displays Talent Along With Artwork

Muskego Public Library is vibrant with colors and textures of the work of young hands, as school art programs display their talent.

“Art Education: An Essential Piece of the Puzzle” is now on exhibit at the Muskego Public Library, a presentation of pieces from art students from first grade to high school.

Dennis Severin, art teacher at said the display is an annual observation each March to emphasize the "value of art education for all students and to encourage support for quality school art programs."

Youth Art Month provides an opportunity for the public to see the results of the skills that are developed in art education, which Severin said isn't something other subjects offered can provide. The student art exhibit is presented by art faculty from the elementary, middle and high school in Muskego.
