Resurfacing Offer is Probably a Cover for a Scam, Say Police
Low-ball offer to resurface your driveway is likely a scam, so if approached please contact police.

The Muskego Police Department received information regarding a possible scam that may be being operated in the Muskego area regarding driveway asphalting.
Two men approached a business on Janesville Road and offered to seal/resurface their driveway for a ridiculously low amount. Police say this is a very popular scam that is perpetrated by "travelers," or people who travel the country, setting up shop in an area for a while, and then flee when they start to take some heat.
The suspects in the reported scam in Muskego are operating a white Chevrolet Silverado Pickup truck with Missouri license plates.

"They go by the names Mike and Chris, and one of the subjects is described as a male white, with a large build, red hair, and an accent. If you see these men, or their truck, contact the police department, as we would like to identify them and confirm their legitimacy," said Lieutenant Dave Constantineau.
Also, police want residents to remember that anyone coming to your door to sell something needs a solicitor’s permit from the city, and must have it with them. Ask all door-to-door solicitors to see their permit, if they don’t have one, say "no thank you," and call police.
