Ribbon Cutting Celebrates Reinvention of Warehouse Space
Shawna Jesse had been a distributor and home based business for Miche Bags, but a business model change meant she needed to repurpose a warehouse space, which was officially welcomed Thursday night

You hear a lot about 'vision' but it's always impressive when you see it in practice.
As the ribbon was cut at Purse Fashionista's Secret Nook, it was easy to forget the space was once a warehouse. Shawna Jesse, owner, was initially using the space as a warehouse for her distributorship with Miche Bags, a handbag direct sales merchandiser that features changeable 'covers' for the bags.
However, Jesse explained that "as the company decided to change their sales model, I was still here and had a lease to fulfill, so I decided to open as a boutique."

Jesse still sells the bags, but also features decor, jewelry and other hand crafts made by other local small businesses.
Mayor Kathy Chiaverotti congratulated Jesse for "reinventing herself in order to stay successful, and to help other businesses in the process sell their products as well."
