Ryan Posts His Own Fundraising Numbers
1st District Congressional race brings out supporters on both sides as incumbent responds to challenger's fundraising stats.

As Democratic challenger , 1st District Congressman Paul Ryan raised $732,218 and added 1,934 new donors in the first three months of 2012, according to a campaign release.
The campaign credited a "flood of contributions from first time donors" to bring Ryan’s cash on hand to $5,081,310. Averaging just under $245,000 per month in donations, Ryan’s fundraising for the reporting period exceeded his total for the previous three months combined by $236,890.
“The message I am hearing from voters is that they want Washington’s ways reformed. They are tired of the unchecked spending, borrowing and taxing,” stated Ryan in the release. “Voters want the President’s health care law repealed, failed stimulus spending to be stopped, and to be talked to like adults about our country’s challenges, not pandered to like children.”
