State Fair Announces Pre-Season Deals

As we're facing warm and humid weather, this announcement from State Fair Spokesperson Patrice Harris was timely indeed:

Several “Fair Deals” that offer Fairgoers the biggest savings on advance admission, cream puffs and tickets for SpinCity, the new amusement ride and game area at the Fair begin May 1st. The $5 Fair Deal Admission vouchers or tickets that provide a savings of $4 per ticket off the adult gate admission price, which is a 45% savings!

New in 2012, the discounted admission vouchers can be purchased right at the check out at participating Wisconsin Sentry, Trig’s and Festival Foods stores. Festival Foods is a new retail partner in 2012, and admission vouchers can be purchased at all Wisconsin Festival Foods locations. In addition, tickets can also be purchased online at WiStateFair.com (mail order and print-at-home options are available; service fee applies). 

In addition to the $5 admission, a new offer for those who love the midway offers a savings of 50% on the price of individually purchased ride and game tickets for the new SpinCity amusement area at the Fair. For only $25 purchasers will receive a 50-ticket sheet valid for all SpinCity rides and games. (Rides and games will generally require two to five tickets each.)

This year's State Fair takes place Thursday, August 2 through Sunday, August 12 at Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis.
