State of The Union Will Be On, But Will Muskego Care?
Competing with a highly anticipated meeting over a possible lake property purchase, it's likely the commander in chief will take a back seat to Common Council. However, there are watch parties in the area, should you care...

There are a lot of people expected to attend Tuesday night's Common Council meeting at Muskego Lakes Country Club, either to speak on the potential purchase of land for use as a park on Little Muskego Lake, or to listen to the discussion.
However, Jim Brownlow, Jim and Kim Barden won't be there, as they've posted a State of the Union watch party at their home on the Obama-Biden website. The couple are hosting a party from 7-9pm at their home, right around the same time people will be voicing their opinions on a park on the lake.
Likely overlooked given the heightened interest in the lake issue, the yearly address given by the president has a website where you can RSVP for watch parties in the area, either at political headquarters, or in the Barden's case, in someone's home nearby. We're told it's a great way for people who are active in the party, or just wanting to get involved especially as 2012 is a presidential election year, to get fired up and share a little comeraderie.
