Take A Trip Around the World Without Leaving the City

Let's face it, by the time we slog through February, we're ready for a little diversion and excitement. Perfect timing then for a dinner, dance and auction sponsored by St. Leonard congregation.

The event will be held at Bush Gardens at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, which event chairperson Tracie Donahue said "makes the perfect date night, although anyone is welcome to attend to enjoy an evening out."

In addition, the $35 ticket per person includes dinner, entertainment and an auction, so it's a great deal, too. Auction items have come in so far from more than 75 sponsors and donors, and a raffle includes an iPad, iPad mini or the one-size-fits all cash prize. Proceeds will go to St. Leonard's Church and School, and with the it's likely the money will help offset the estimated $175,000 cost for that project.
