Teens, Young Adults Keep Police Busy

This week's police blotter features a theme where those caught in the act were in their mid 20s and under, and school is not even out of session yet.

Friday, May 18 – An 18 year old Manitowoc man was arrested for shoplifting at Kohl’s Department Store. His companions, a 23 year old Fredric man, and a 22 year old man from Osceola, were not charged.

Saturday, May 19

  • A yard in the W19100 block of River Oaks Ct. was toilet papered.
  • A New Berlin man reported that his boat was stolen from the M&W Marine storage property on College Ave. between 7:00pm on May 17; it was discovered around 9 a.m., burned out, behind a scrap yard in Milwaukee.
  • In response to a noise complaint, a resident in the W17100 block of Briargate Lane was advised regarding the use of a “puffer” machine, which made a loud noise similar to fireworks.
  • A suspicious vehicle parked in front of a vacant home on Nature Dr. led to an underage party at a residence on Clearbrook Dr., where two 17 year old Muskego men were arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
  • A traffic stop on Pioneer Dr. at Lions Park Dr. led to the 20 year old driver being ticketed for possession of intoxicants.

Sunday, May 20 – A resident reported a possible prowler in the S7600 block of Conrad Ct. The suspect used a ladder to knock on a bedroom window. The area was checked, no one located, however, a suspect has been identified. On May 22nd a homeowner in the W14000 block reported the theft of his 44 ft. extension ladder which had been recovered on Conrad Ct. The ladder was returned.

Wednesday, May 23

  • An 18 year old Muskego woman was arrested for shoplifting at Kohl’s Department Store.
  • A report of 10 subjects in their late teens/early 20’s causing a disturbance at Walmart around 11:45 p.m., led to the arrest of a 21 year old West Allis woman for an outstanding warrant through the Waukesha Police Department for possession of drug paraphernalia.
