Traffic Alert: I-43 Ramp Closures at Racine Avenue, Highway 83

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Southeast Region is announced that periodic ramp closures will take place on I-43 southbound in Waukesha County, beginning Thursday night and continuing through Friday, June 8.  

Closures will take place at the following locations:

• I-43 SB @ Racine Avenue—Off-ramp
• I-43 SB @ WIS 83—Off-ramp

WisDOT said every effort will be made to keep ramps open during rush hours. However, if you need to access the freeway, you may opt to use the Moorland Road onramps in New Berlin., The Highway 164 onramp is also open, and can be accessed by taking Janesville Road to 164 in Big Bend and turning north (right), or from Racine Avenue, continuing north to National Avenue, heading west (left) to 164, and then south (left) to the onramp.
