We know what the fair is all about today, but few people realize it was also racing horses before it ever raced cars, and that the Green Bay Packers played some of their earliest games there.
Join Zimmerman will be at the library to answer some of these questions:
- When and where was our first state fair?
- Was the fair ever cancelled? If so, why?
- What is the "official fair utensil?"
And, you're welcome to bring a few questions of your own.
