Update: Muskego Elections Continue to Take Shape; Snead Will Run Again
District 1 Alderman Tracy Snead has confirmed she will run again in 2012.

Three of four aldermanic seats were unopposed in the 2011 election, but the 2012 election is setting up to be different, with district five's seat already featuring two candidates, incumbent Dan Soltysiak, and newcomer John Englehardt, who has been a member of the board for the Muskego Area Chamber of Commerce and Tourism, as well as the pastor of the Muskego Apostolic Tabernacle.
District three's alderman Neil Borgman has said he will file papers to run again, and may face Larry Lefebvre, a member of the Little Muskego Lake District Board. Lefebvre has taken out papers, and has said he was looking to run, but has not filed officially for his candidacy as of yet.
In addition, should district two alderman Kert Harenda, who will no longer reside in the district after new ward boundaries are made official in 2012, decide to run for the third district, a primary will take place on February 21.
