is looking for volunteer drivers to assist elderly residents in the city get to appointments, shopping and provide them the ability just to get around. Please contact them at 262-679-4754 if you've got the time and a good driving record!

is a unique rehabilitation facility in Muskego, providing assistance to brain injury victims. Their creatures of rehab also need plenty of attention, and your donation of time or money is always welcome. Contact Lisa at 414-405-4722.

Safety City is coming in July - this annual offering for tots teaches safety at home and on their bikes. We haven't gotten the official call yet, but it's 'safe' to assume the and the Muskego Woman's Club will be asking for volunteers age 14-18 to help out, so please keep this great program in mind!

Volunteer opportunities through the United Way Volunteer Center, which is a part of

Volunteer Center Summer Intern, United Way in Waukesha County in Waukesha
Looking for something to do this summer? United Way in Waukesha County, located in Waukesha, is offering an unpaid volunteer internship from May through August. This intern reports to our office’s Volunteer Center and would assist with event and project management, development of marketing materials for the Volunteer Center, and would help refer volunteers to opportunities in the community. Although this is an unpaid internship, we offer great letters of recommendation and will work with an academic institution if the internship is for credit. Volunteer interns must be at least 18 years of age and commit to working a minimum of 10 hours per week. 

Provide a Meal for Homeless Men, Salvation Army in Waukesha
Wednesday dinners are needed for men staying at the Salvation Army Emergency Lodge in Waukesha. Volunteers would prepare the meal ahead of time and bring it to the shelter located at 445 Madison St. Thirty-five to 41 men are residing at the shelter each evening. We are looking for church or service groups to commit to a once a month meal schedule. Volunteers must be 18 or older or accompanied by a parent. Volunteers must purchase and prepare the food ahead of time; there will be no facilities on site to prepare the food.

We have many needs for volunteers at Fiesta Waukesha. Young people like to work at the Soda Booth or help with grounds clean-up. But we need adults who can oversee the parking areas. Specifically, we need a responsible adult who will be willing to coordinate all of the clean-up, both daily and post-fiesta. This event is taking place on June 22, 23 and 24 at Frame Park in Waukesha.

Be An Animal Foster Home, Elmbrook Humane Society in Brookfield
If you have a love of animals and space in your heart for a few extra friends, our animals need you! Volunteers are needed to foster animals from our shelter in their homes throughout the year. Startup supplies are provided. Foster homes are especially needed for kittens that need feeding and/or shy dogs that need socialization. Training and support is provided by our staff.

Volunteers must be a minimum of 18 years old, willing to complete an application process and demonstrate a commitment to the health and welfare of animals.
