Warrior Boys XCountry Post 5th in Rocket Invite, JV Takes 2nd

Varsity places 5th out of 17 teams competing on Saturday, while JV takes 2nd; freshman Josh Deakin shows varsity team depth with a time that places him 4th all-time for freshman at MHS

MHS Boys Cross Country Coach CJ Michaud provided news from the Rocket Invitational meet this past weekend:

On Saturday, our boys cross country team finished in 5th place in the 17 team Rocket Invitational. Leading the way was Andrew Salo, finishing in 24th place with a time of 17:15. Mitch Kwapick finished in 29th in a time of 17:28, and Josh Deakin was right behind him finishing in 34th place in a time of 17:34. Josh's time moves him up to 4th all time among all freshmen to ever run at Muskego High School. The JV team finished 2nd, only 15 points behind Tosa East, and 66 points ahead of 3rd place. Leading the way was Jeremy Peterson, finishing in 2nd place in a time of 18:03.

Warrior Invite in need of volunteers

On September 22, we will be hosting our annual Warrior Cross Country Invitational. We are still in need of volunteers to help with the concession stand, parking lot, and finish line.
