"I'm really happy with how the girls ran today, this is a true gut check for our team.  We had a really tough week of practice and this is a really tough course with many rolling hills that really can take a lot out of a runner," Raney said. "We also faced some of the best teams in the state along with some great local teams (Waukesha West and Brookfield East).  To place as well as we did today really showed the dedication of this team to take every opportunity to be successful.  We are looking forward to get back to working hard to be ready for our Muskego Warrior Invite at Lake Denoon Middle School next week."

"We had some really great competition to race against this week, we'd like to congratulate all of the competitors in the race, but our hard work is really starting to pay off," added Lexie Tremble. "We keep getting better and better each week!  Our goals are just to stay healthy and positive for the remainder of the season."

Alyssa Jansen agreed, adding, "We all showed up really focused and ready to run today, we need to just keep working hard and we have some great times to look forward to at the end of the season."

Amy Klaus felt the meet was an example of the team's goal to improve with every meet, every week.

"It's amazing to see the start that everyone is off too this season! Race by race we are all improving and getting better and better.  I am excited to keep progressing and move forward into some great things this season.  We now need to just stay healthy, focused like we have been all season," she said.
