- Did you know that Muskego is home to the countyβs first regional park, Muskego Park? Covering 193 acres, the park has trails for hiking and biking, picnic areas and a beach for swimming and fishing.
- Muskego was originally inhabited by the Potawatomi Native Americans, who used the Muskego Lake as a fishing and hunting ground.
- Each year, the annual Muskego Waterbugs Water Ski Show takes place on Muskego Lake, featuring skiers of all ages performing stunts and tricks.
- Muskego has a unique history as a former vacation destination for Milwaukeeans in the early 1900s, with many summer homes and resorts along the lakeshores.
