Weather Forecasters Reach for the Future

Small-talk topics are a part of every day life — How was traffic? How was your day? Did you enjoy dinner? How's the weather?

That one probably tops the list — "How's the weather?" 

But now it can be tweaked a little: What's the weather going to be like 25 days from now?

Believe it or not, new technology on AccuWeather.com allows users to search a zip code and come up with a forceast for the next 25 days.

That means the temperature in Muskego has been predicted for every day through the end of April. In fact, on April 30 in Muskego, the high temperature is predicted to be 55 with a low of 37 and mostly cloudy skies. This could make it easier to plan ahead, but for the skeptical and snake-bitten among us, that might be something to be taken with a grain of salt. (In other words, check back to this article on April 30 to test their system.)

The forecast includes "temperature, sky conditions and chance of precipitation, wind speed and direction, rain, snow and ice amounts, thunderstorm probability, cloud cover and UV index," according to a press release on the website. "The detailed forecast gives you critical weather information that will help you make long-range decisions based on how the weather is likely to impact your plans."
