What's Your News In 2012, Muskego?

It's likely that the cell phone will no doubt replace the wallet fat with pictures of the kids.  It's also likely that announcements for those family milestones are less likely to appear in the traditional print media.

Since we launched at the end of 2010, Muskego Patch has featured an Announcements Page, which allows any reader or business to crow about recent achievements, including more personal announcements like engagements and 'in memoriam' posts to honor friends or family that have passed away. The Announcements page can be found under the News tab.

We strive to be THE community news site for Muskego, and this is no small part of it. Now that you know we're here, please use this part of the site to tell your news, and even upload a photo if you so desire. This is similar to the Events page, which allows groups to post their bake sale, fundraiser or fair so everyone can include it on their calendar.

Often, we look to user-generated content to follow up for stories, and the announcements are a great place to find those human interest pieces that tell of an anniversary or a milestone birthday and the people behind them. As 2012 unfolds, we hope to hear from many of you and celebrate or commemorate along with you.
