WisDOT Construction on 164 Could Affect Muskego
2013 project will feature resurfacing and reconditioning of roadway on Highway 164 from Henneberry Drive to I-43, and residents who use that route to get somewhere can see and hear more about it on May 30.
According to a release, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will hold a public information meeting to discuss the proposed improvements to Highway 164 from Henneberry Drive to I-43. The meeting is scheduled from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 30 at the Big Bend Village Hall, W230 S9185 Nevins Street. The meeting will follow an informal, open house format.
The proposed project includes reconditioning Highway 164 from Henneberry Drive to I-43. Within the Village of Big Bend, the roadway will be reconstructed with concrete pavement. New traffic signals will be installed at the intersection of Highway 164 and County L. Highway 164 will be closed to through traffic during construction, which is currently scheduled for 2013.
The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, provide input and ask questions concerning this project. Maps showing the proposed improvement will be on display. Representatives from WisDOT and the project team will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis.
