Your Letters: Muskego Candidates Should Know the Issues
Proud parents and long time residents back Tracy Snead and clear up earlier statements made by opponents in the race.
Our names are Fred and Pat Korth and we are the very proud parents of 1st District Alderwoman Tracy Snead. We attended the open meeting at Stoney Creek Adult Community a Christian retirement resident, (not an old age home) to listen to Wolfe who is opposing Tracy for the 1st District Alderman on 2/12/2012 . We did this after calling the facility to see if this meeting was open to the public. The response was yes it was open to the public.
We attended this meeting to see what his outlook was for Muskego? My husband and I asked questions that we felt the people attending should be aware of. There is no way that we bad mouthed the canditates nor called them any names. Isn't it funny that the comments were not made until Mr. Wolfe met us at the common council meeting the night before. We feel he did not totally know the complete facts of the situation of the district nor the city of Muskego. He claims to know the value of spending money, and yet feels the Wal-Mart store and the General Electric facilities are bad for small business.
He also states that the two facilities should not be across the street from one another. It seems Wolfe is more interested in small businesses rather than tax paying companies, He also criticized the fact that Aurora and Kohl's should not be adjacent to one another. Does he not believe that we have zoning requirements in this city? Wolfe also Said that Aurora and ProHealth should be next to one another. What is it about competors that he doesn't understand. Wolfe also made a comment to the fact the Muskego Library was built on very valuable property and should have been placed someplace other than the central location it presently is.

This Common Council has the City of Muskego headed for a progressive community and not moving backwards. At the Muskego Council meeting held at Lake Dennon Middle School Wolfe on 2/14/2012 he approached my wife and myself making the comment that he wishes we would have introduced ourselves to him, then accused us of being spies and policeman. I feel it was Wolfe's position to introduce himself to the people that attended this forum. He actually became very indignant to my wife and myself.
I am a man of 77 years old and when coming off of the stage area, I slipped on a microphone cord and fell. Instead of Wolfe offering to assist helping me up, he made some comment about me having to much to drink. I am not a drinking person and I resent his accusation. I feel Wolfe owes my wife and me an apology for his assumption and lack of concern for one of his Muskego residents. The City of Muskego deserves an alderman that is compassionate and a willing person to represent the 1st District. Your vote should be Tracy Snead.
