3rd Arrest In New Berlin Following Shots Fired Incident

NEW BERLIN, WIβ€”New Berlin Police announced a third person involved in a police pursuit from Friday night was taken into custody on Saturday.

Two people were taken into custody after a police pursuit ended in New Berlin on Friday night, according to a news release. After 8 p.m. on Friday, New Berlin Officers assisted the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department in a pursuit that exited north onto South Moorland Road from I-43.

The car being pursued was involved in an incident involving shots being fired within Milwaukee County, the release said.

The pursuit continued through the City of New Berlin where ultimately the suspect's car
crashed in the area of South Scott Drive and West Armour Avenue. Three people fled following the crash. Ultimately two people were located, placed in custody and turned over to the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Department, the release said.

No officers were injured during the incident.
