City Of New Berlin: Press Release - Johns Disposal Carts To Be Delivered – December 2021

Johns Disposal Service Inc. will be assuming responsibility for City of New Berlin residential garbage/recycling pickup effective 1/1/2022.  Johns will be delivering a new brown 95 gallon cart for trash and a new green 95 gallon cart for recycling to all eligible residential properties throughout the month of December. Carts will include an informational brochure and a 2022 garbage/recycling calendar & map. 

Residents who desire a smaller trash or recycling cart (48-gallon) must call Johns directly (262-473-4700) to schedule an exchange. Container exchanges will be made by Johns at no additional charge.

 Residents who are not home at the time of delivery of the new carts, are encouraged to make arrangements with a family member or friend to move the new carts from the curb where they will be delivered.  Residents do NOT have the option to pick up the carts early or delay the delivery.  

 Residents interested in Up-the-Drive service for an additional fee should contact Johns Disposal Services directly at 262-473-4700.  And all residents need to keep in mind that Johns Disposal carts will not be emptied by Johns until the week of January 3, 2022.
