New Berlin's Kat's Cafe announced it will permanently close Monday.

NEW BERLIN, WI — Kat's Cafe in New Berlin will close its doors next week. The cafe will remain open through the weekend, but Monday at 2 p.m. will mark its final moment open.
The business announced the news first on Facebook. "Thank you for your past business and strong support," the owner wrote. "We hope that we provided you with fantastic food, great service and a welcomed [sic] atmosphere! Who knows, maybe we will pop up again nearby!"
The business will provide some final hours and will be open through the weekend, the owner wrote. Through that weekend service, though, the owner has asked people to be patient because of staff shortages.
