Apartment Fire In Oak Creek Leads To Minor Injuries: Fire Dept.
One resident had to be hospitalized for minor injuries after a fire Monday night in Oak Creek, authorites said.

OAK CREEK, WI — One person suffered minor injuries when a fire broke out Monday night at an apartment building in the 1900 block of West Timber Ridge Lane, according to a news release from the Oak Creek Fire Department.
Firefighters were alerted to the situation around 9:50 p.m. Those who were first on scene found flames and smoke showing from a lower-level apartment, the news release said. Oak Creek firefighters extinguished the blaze within 15 minutes of arriving, according to the release.
The fire damaged a shared hallway and just one apartment unit, according to the fire department. Authorities are still investigating what caused it.

The one resident who suffered minor injuries was brought to a local hospital, the news release said.
The Franklin, Cudahy, Greenfield and Milwaukee Fire Departments assisted the Oak Creek Fire Department with the Monday night fire.
