Car Crashes Into Restaurant At Oak Creek's Drexel Town Square

OAK CREEK, WI — A car crashed into the Belair Cantina location at Oak Creek's Drexel Town Square on Wednesday morning, according to a news release from the Oak Creek Fire Department.

The car crashed into the exterior and continued into the dining area around 9:30 a.m., causing severe damage to the building at 410 West Town Square Way, the fire department said.

The driver, a 37-year-old woman, appeared to have experienced a medical episode before the crash, authorites said.

In a Facebook post, the fire department said no employees or customers were on the scene and there were no apparent injuries.

The CBS 58 report said the driver was brought to a hospital but no other injuries were reported. A video shared with TMJ4 showed the SUV crashed inside the restaurant with glass, wood and metal scattered around the scene.
