Doo-Wop Daddies Take Stage Today at Community Center

The 2013 Oak Creek Community Center concert series continues Wednesday with the Doo-Wop Daddies. 

The band will deliver classic 50s and 60s music from 7 to 9 p.m. on the community center grounds, 8580 S. Howell Ave. 

To set the mood for the show, classic cars from the 1950s and 60s will be on display starting at 6 p.m., Community Center Director Rich Duchniak said.

Attendees can bring their own food and beverages or purchase them at the center. In addition, free custard floats will be offered to the first 350 people in attendance. 

After Wednesday, the concert series will continue with two shows in August.
