OAK CREEK, WI — A Lou Malnati's Pizzeria location is coming to Oak Creek on Howell Avenue in 2022, according to the company's website.

The pizza joint, known for its Chicago-style deep-dish pies, first opened in Lincolnwood, Illinois, in 1971, according to the company's website. The pizzeria has since expanded to numerous states, with Wisconsin locations listed in Greenfield, Fox Point, Brookfield and Waukesha.

The Oak Creek location is destined for 8171 South Howell Avenue near Drexel Town Square.

The pizzeria touts itself as the "oldest family name in Chicago pizza."

A voicemail recording from the Oak Creek location's listed number said it's still hiring for all positions. The company's website said the location will open in 2022, but an exact date has not been publicly announced.
