Man Accused Of 9th Drunken Driving Offense In Oak Creek: Cops
Police said the driver had six drunken driving convictions in Wisconsin and two more in Illinois.

OAK CREEK, WI — Authorities in Oak Creek say a man with eight drunken driving convictions was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving for a ninth time in Oak Creek following an apparent road rage incident on June 30.
According to police call logs, an officer was on patrol just after noon on June 30 near the intersection of S. Howell Ave. and W. Rawson Ave. when they saw the drivers of two vehicles arguing with one another in an apparent road rage incident.
Police call logs stated that the officer questioned both drivers, and learned one of them, a 51-year-old South Milwaukee man, was behind the wheel when he rear-ended another car that was stopped at a red light on the 7100 block of S. Howell Ave.

Police said the man failed field sobriety tests and had six drunken driving convictions in Wisconsin and two more in Illinois.
Police call logs stated that the man appeared impaired, leading to the field sobriety tests. He was transported to Ascension Franklin hospital for a blood draw. Police also found that the man had an open warrant in South Milwaukee on a municipal charge of Fraud on Innkeeper.
