More Than 60 Percent Of Oak Creek Coronavirus Cases Recovered

OAK CREEK, WI — Officials in Oak Creek say nearly 60 percent of all COVID-19 cases in the city have recovered through Tuesday.

According to the Oak Creek Health Department, there were 104 reported cases of COVID-19 in Oak Creek, and 11 COVID-19-related deaths. City officials said of the 104 reported cases, there have been 60 recoveries.

Oak Creek Health Department officials say they're working closely with state Department of Health Services to monitor the outbreak, and is prepared to respond as needed.

Oak Creek officials say that playgrounds and basketball courts in Oak Creek are still closed until further notice. Park green spaces can still be used, but city officials are asking residents to practice social distancing, keeping at least six feet between yourself and others.
