New Car Wash Proposed Near Puetz And Howell

OAK CREEK, WI — A new express car wash could be coming to 140 Puetz Road.

Erickson Enterprises, LLC, proposed the facility and the Oak Creek Plan Commission recommended approval for a later Common Council meeting. Alongside the express car washes, the facility could eventually include 26 vacuums and two self-serve dog washing areas, according to the project's summary.

The facility could employ eight-10 people, and customers will have access to the vacuums whether they wash or not, the summary said.

The proposal, which calls the facility "Tsunami Express," said it could be open daily.

Editor's note: A project summary submitted to the city said the proposal was for 140 E. Puetz Road, but site plans and other city documents online note the proposal is for 140 West Puetz Road.
