Oak Creek Resident Charged With Sexually Assaulting Child

A 29-year-old Oak Creek man faces up to 60 years in prison after he was charged with repeated sexual assault of a child.

According to the criminal complaint, the 10-year-old girl told police her stepfather inappropriately touched her and made her touch his genitals several times over the past two years. She was afraid to tell anyone about it because she thought she would get a "whooping."

The man told police he talked about sex and was just "instructing about what men would do," according to the complaint. He denied any contact. Patch is not naming the man to protect the identity of the girl.

A scheduling conference is scheduled for May 2.
