Oak Creek Cell Phone Store Burglarized: Police

Police say a man broke into the store by using a large rock to smash a small window next to the store's front door.

OAK CREEK, WI — A cell phone store in Oak Creek was burglarized and more than $2,500 in cell phones were taken.

According to Oak Creek police call logs, officers were sent to the Connect Cell store at 7848 S. Howell Ave. just after 10 a.m. on July 26 on a report of a burglary.

Police say a man broke into the store by using a large rock to smash a small window next to the store's front door.

According to police, the man managed to open the front door, and stole the following items:

  • an iPhone 11 valued at $699
  • an iphone 11 Pro valued at $999
  • an iPhone 11 Pro Max valued at $1099.

When police reviewed surveillance footage, they learned the man broke into the story at just before 2:30 a.m. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, gray pants, white gloves, tan shoes and a black bandana, according to police call logs.
