Oak Creek Police Investigating Car Theft: Cops
Oak Creek police said video footage captured the Lexus speed out of the subdivision with a suspicious vehicle right behind.

OAK CREEK, WI — Authorities in Oak Creek say they're investigating a car theft after the owner reported it missing after video footage captured the vehicle speeding out of the subdivision.
According to Oak Creek police call logs, officers were sent to a home on the 1100 block of W. Morningside Lane just before 7 a.m. on June 28 on a report of a stolen car.
Police call logs stated that the owner of a Lexus GS last saw his vehicle the previous night when he parked it outside near the garage. The vehicle was unlocked with the keys left inside, police said.

When police reviewed surveillance camera footage from nearby, they reported seeing the Lexus GS leaving the Glenn Crossing subdivision at a high rate of speed just after 4 a.m., with a second, smaller sedan following the Lexus out of the subdivision. The vehicle was valued at $14,700 according to police.
