Plans For New Vet Clinic Take Shape

Construction is expected to begin soon on a new veterinary clinic near Drexel and Howell avenues.

Oak Creek Veterinary Care, a full-service, small animal care facility, will open on vacant land at 8000 S. Howell Ave. The Oak Creek Plan Commission on Tuesday approved the plans, which call for a 6,039-square-foot building.

The business will feature medical services only, with no day care, grooming or boarding provided.

Developers and the city's engineering department are still working through the storm water plan for the site. Officials are also working on connections with Chase Bank next door.
