Stolen Trailer Was Filled With Items For Special Needs Patients

The staff at Medical Support Services in Oak Creek are asking for the public's help to find a trailer that was stolen.

OAK CREEK, WI — The staff at Medical Support Services in Oak Creek is asking the for the public's help after suspects stole a trailer full of medical equipment was stolen from behind their business last week.

Medical Support Services staff said the equipment inside was used to help people with special needs. The total value of the trailer and its contents is between $20,000 and $25,000.

According to staff from Medical Support Services, the trailer was stolen from behind the Oak Creek clinic at 149 E. Rawson Ave. Suite 317.

"We are asking that people be on the lookout in the community and online for any information that could help us in locating it," Jessica Donato told Oak Creek Patch.

The equipment was packed and ready to go for a move. Workers parked the trailer in the business parking lot overnight. The next morning, it was gone, they said.

"All of these pieces of equipment are very unique. A stander, for instance, could have 10 different possible accessories that go with it in order to provide the best positioning input for that child," said Rehab Director Sarah Andreucci in a FOX report.

Staff said the trailer is black with metallic rims and edges. The trailer has a Roufus Sports sticker on the upper right corner in the back, and a Middleton Trailer on the upper right corner in the front, staff said.
