Oak Creek Woman Charged With 3rd OWI
Muskego police pulled over an Oak Creek woman after a night of drinking what she claimed was no more than an ounce of liquor.

An Oak Creek woman has been charged with her third drunken driving offense after Muskego police recorded a blood-alcohol level of 0.26, more than three times the legal limit to drive, according to reports.
Police reports say Kristine Schmidt, 43, was pulled over near Janesville Road and 116th Street after Muskego police saw the vehicle she was driving take an extra-wide turn and cross the center line. She had difficulty exiting the car, and police noted she had slurred speech and smelled of alcohol.
Schmidt told police that she had four or five mixed drinks, which she said was "equivalent to the size of a normal shot of liquor" throughout the evening at Bushy's Pub in Muskego.
