Back to ... the Ice Rink?
Hockey registration now open for youths interested in leagues at the Ozaukee Ice Center.

School is around the corner, meaning registration for all your kids fall activities is starting to take priority, too.
Players can register for the 2011-12 Ozaukee Youth Hockey season between now and Sept. 15, according to a press release from the Ozaukee Ice Center. Registration is available online.
All skill levels and ages are welcome from grades 3K to 9, according to the release, and no previous experience is required; in fact, new skaters are encouraged to sign up. Tryouts begin Sept. 18 and the season runs through mid-March.Â

Teams are co-ed and divided by age and skill level. There are all-girl teams for ages 11 to 14 and 15 to 19. Â
Registration is also available for the mini-mite program. This is a developmental league for kids grade 3K-3. The season runs October to March and teams practice and play on both Saturday and Sunday mornings at the Ozaukee Ice Center. The cost is $225 for the season, and free rental equipment is available while supplies last. Skaters are responsible for having their own skates and sticks. Coaches will teach the kids how to skate and learn the fundamentals of the game.
