Cops Talk to Construction Workers After Resident Says They Used His Water

A Port Washington resident had an odd reason to call the police thanks to a batch of construction workers.

The resident of the 1900 block of Blue Spruce Court called Port Washington police at 10:19 a.m. Friday after noticing the workers coming onto his property and taking water from the spigot.

The officer stopped by the site and advised the workers not to do this.

Perhaps they will invest in some bottled water now.
